We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Financial Promotions Manager to join our team. 

This role will

  • Manage the relationship with key stakeholders in the production of customer communications and financial promotions ensuring that FCA, ASA and all other regulatory parameters are taken into account and applied when developing and approving customer communications
  • Reviewing of all advertising, marketing and financial promotions to identify, address and resolve any issues which may fail to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining controls to ensure that all communications, advertising and financial promotions comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and group-wide policies, evidencing their approval and retaining adequate records.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within Think Money Group to review and approve high quality customer communications that comply with the regulatory requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.
  • Manage the final sign off within Marketing to evidence authorisation for use of all customer communications and to confirm for all financial promotions that the applicable regulatory requirements have been met.
  • Work closely with Group Legal and Compliance to maintain a high level of current knowledge and technical skills to support proactive identification of key emerging issues impacting the drafting of customer communications
  • Maintain understanding of regulatory developments which may impact on the production of customer communications and financial promotions.
  • Ensure marketing teams understand the applicable regulatory requirements through training and continuous support and guidance to those creating financial promotions to embed a 'right first time' culture.
  • Lead training sessions on marketing procedures to key business contacts to ensure consistent standards are applied across the Group.

Essential Criteria

  • Solid Regulatory experience (c 4 years) gained in respect of advertising/communications issues/financial promotions
  • An understanding of Regulatory requirements across a broad spectrum of financial services and products in relation to financial promotions
  • Excellent working knowledge of FCA and other regulatory requirements for financial promotions
  • Degree or equivalent (desirable)
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of managing junior members of the team
  • Ability to maintain momentum on multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills able to display flexibility of interpretation and intent to suit anticipated audience or recipient
  • Experience of producing reports for distribution to Management.
  • An excellent understanding of customer and business needs, knowledge of marketing tools and techniques desirable
